Self Balancing Robot

RGIT'S MESA conducted ‘The Self-balancing Robot workshop’ its first extra co -curricular event along with the ROBOTICs club of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology from 27th to 29th august, 2019. Students from all the years and different colleges throughout Mumbai participated in large number for this workshop.

The workshop was inaugurated on 27th august, 2019 at 12:30 pm, by the HOD Dr.Rajesh Kale, who also gave a congratulatory speech, followed by few words from MESA convener Prof. N. B. Shahapure and RGIT’s Robotics Club convener Prof. Deepa Pandey.

On the first day  of the   workshop,  the students  were  made  acquainted   with solidworks on  their  individual  laptops, and taught  the basics, students completed the designing of the self-balancing robot on solidworks . The second day of  the  workshop  was  focused  on introduction to the components of the robot, distribution of robot kits and assembling  the same. The third day was aimed  at coding of the  robot  using Arduino  and  completion of the  robots.

The event on the whole was largely satisfactory and had a student count of 75. An event completion certificate was provided to the students as well as the volunteers.
